When Kristina Wagner (nee Klump) was a little girl, she dreamed of what she would do when she grew up.

Fire fighter, ballerina, salmon gutter, umbrella salesperson ... she dreamed them all! But it wasn't until Kristina was bitten by the acting bug at the tender age of 10 that she realized what she really wanted to do with her life.

"I spent about a month in bed because of the nasty bite I got from that acting bug," Kristina recounted to a friend, "and while I was laying there, taking antibiotics and Tempra for the pain and infection, I watched a lot of tv. I saw my first soap then. It was As The World Turns. That was it, I decided I, too, wanted to become an actress! So in a lot of ways, I owe the career I have today to being bitten by that acting bug. Had it not bit me and had I not gotten so violently ill from it, I never would have watched so much tv and decided to give an acting career a shot!"

However, if you think Kristina had an easy ride into daytime superstardom, guess again! It was a long, uphill climb for the young Ms Klump -- a climb filled with murderous rage, betrayal, kinky sex and red hot foreign intrigue!
